Post quantity by wind load calculator

This tool calculates how many posts you will need for your road sign based on wind loading, sign dimensions and mounting height

Please note:
Mounting height is from ground to underside of sign.
Panels wider than the largest stock sheet size (3050 mm) cannot be calculated.
This calculator only suggests post sizes based on average UK wind pressure, and assuming firm foundations.
The capabilty of a panel to span between the suggested number of posts is not assessed.
